The Eastern Idaho Stockdog Association is proud to once again have Patrick Shannahan for a stockdog handling clinic.
Patrick is an internationally known handler, clinician, and judge. He trials extensively and has many local, National and International winning titles to his name.
(2022 Trailing of the Sheep Overall Winner and 2010 and 1994 USBCA Sheepdog Open Champion to name a few). All levels of dogs and handlers are welcome. We will begin at 9AM each day.
Patrick will help bring out the best in you, and your dog!
We will also have our annual members meeting following the clinic on Saturday Jan 13th.
The September 2024 clinic at the Pratt Ranch in Blackfoot was full and so much fun! Thank you for all that attended and thank you to Patrick for sharing his excellent guidance and knowledge! Thank you Anita and Gary Pratt for sharing your wonderful facilities and letting us take over their ranch for 2 days!

Play days are hosted by members throughout the year. Stock fee is $10/dog for the day for members.

October 15th 2023 - At Lonna Jean’s in McCammon, ID. We started at noon.
July 16th, 2023 in Filer, ID and will began at 4PM with a cooked leg of lamb meal and short meeting. Dogs were worked in the barn or outside.
June 11, 2023 was our first play day and started at 11AM in McCammon, ID.
